
Alexandra Rose Raisman was born on the 25th of May, 1994. She is a retired American artist gymnast. She was leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the 2016 "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She was awarded a gold team medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals at this event. Raisman also won silver medals in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman also earned silver medals for the individual all around and for floor exercise. She is also the two-time national champion in floor exercises (2012,2015) and the 2012 national champion of balance beam, and five-time medalist in all-around competitions at national championships (silver and bronze in 2015 and 2010, as well as in 2011 2012, 2011, and 2012, 2013, and). Inducted into The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.
