Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting gained prominence in the world of television when she was Alex during the final three seasons on One Tree Hill. In September she stayed for two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth-place finish. That same year, the song"Feels Like" Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was a big adult contemporary hit.
